About the Author

Cynthia Barrow-Giles is Professor of Political Science and former Department Head of Government, Sociology and Social Work, University of the West Indies, Cave Hill. Her Publications include Introduction to Caribbean Politics (2002); Living at the Borderlines: Issues in Caribbean Sovereignty and Development (2003); and Women in Caribbean Politics (2011). 

Tennyson Joseph is Lecturer in the Department of Government, Sociology and Social Work, University of the West Indies, Cave Hill. He is co-editor of At the Rainbow’s Edge: Selected Speeches by Kenny D. Anthony (2004).
