In this capacity, he leverages his profound understanding of tourism resilience and digital governance to shape policies that enhance global tourism resilience. Professor Waller’s relentless dedication to advancing knowledge and driving positive change in tourism has earned him national and international recognition, cementing his status as a pivotal figure in shaping the future trajectory of global tourism and tourism resilience.

Hon. Edmund Bartlett is the Minister of Tourism for Jamaica and the founder and co-chair of the Global Tourism Resilience and Crisis Management Centre. Minister Bartlett is often described as a dynamic leader renowned for his extensive expertise and achievements in both tourism and politics. He has spearheaded transformative projects such as the Tourism Linkages Network, facilitating collaboration between tourism and other sectors to maximize local economic impact.
